Budget Figures and Next Steps
Budget papers released alongside the legislation show the Thonglor allocation rising from ฿28 million in the current fiscal year to ฿31.5 million in 2027, with the increase tied to performance metrics on elderly outreach. The Productivity Commission has found similar formula changes in other districts produced a 12 percent rise in documented service completions within the first year.
The provincial administration will issue implementation guidelines by 15 August, after which the Thonglor district office will hold two public information sessions for residents at the community hall on 22 and 29 August. The government says the policy will take full effect on 1 January 2027.
